Twitter Takes Over The World
Are you a part of the Twitter phenomenon?
When I first looked at Twitter, I thought it was a bit of a joke and a waste of time. I joined up, sent a few tweets and then promptly forgot about it. Then for some reason that I can’t remember I went back and “caught the bug”. Now there isn’t a day goes by that I don’t tweet and catch up with all the new friends I’ve made there.
The great thing about Twitter is that it can be informative with regard to articles of interest and the news is in real time. The Victorian bushfires crisis is a case in point. Many people were tweeting information that kept the world informed of what was happening.
Apart from the social side of Twitter, there are some interesting methods of brand promotion and business generation. There are also the tweets about informative blog posts and videos that you wouldn’t necessarily hear about. Yes, it can become an obsession, but that’s up to your own self discipline.
Everyone is talking about Twitter and the growth of the site is exponential. It’s just going wild. Check out this video which is a really comical look at Twitter and who’s using it. If nothing else, you’ll have a good laugh.
