		<description>Doug,

Great post!

I agree that with the dire economic times the U.S. is facing right now as companies begin to let people go, downsize, and basically just cut their losses, there are going to be hundreds, if not thousands of people who are going to be looking for ways to replace their full time incomes.

We as a team are positioned perfectly to help these people out in their endeavors by giving them direction and the help that they need to succeed online.

Knowledge-Application-Results...done correctly can lead to a very prosperous home based business.

Regards,

Ron Barrett

<description>Wow! It&#039;s hard to even imagine almost 25,000 jobs gone from one company like that.

I myself work in the computer field and agree with Doug. It used to be something that you thought was almost a given that you would always have a job. Not so anymore. And to top it all off I work for an Automotive manufacturer. Also, not the best place to be right now.

Internet Marketing has given me something to fall back on should the worst happen and I am looking forward to improving upon what I am already doing through the help of some great people.

Not to mention that I am having a blast, and all in all that is what is important.

Thanks to everyone on Team Champigny,

<description>Doug, You are very astute &amp; on the money (no pun intended- haha) about the bailouts &amp; the layoffs of these institutional giants. The whole world economy is going through a drastic correction at this time. Yes, the internet can be the vehicle for our salvation. And it has been quoted many times that only an extra $500 a month would save the majority of people from bankruptcy.</description>

<description>Yes have to agree more and more people are interested in talking to me about working online and not the skeptical looks you used to get when trying to describe what you do.

Do disagree that you do need a little bit of additional money but can easily start with less than $50 investment plus your computer and internet access (which most already have).

		<description>Doug,

Excellent article [as usual] and I can add that I am &quot;Proof&quot; that moving my entire personal enterprise online has proven to be the answer for me.

I have in 8 months eclipsed my disability income. Believe me that this is unheard of for so many who have been limited to a fixed income.

My prospects for future self reliance is so positive that within the next 3 - 6 months I will be in a position to give up that pension and never look back.

I am pursuing my passion and have never ever been in such a positive &#039;life&#039; space with a belief that my future is truly up to me.

Now, I need to acknowledge that I have met some very wonderful people who have impacted my core being in such a way that my sense of self is at an all time high. And whose encouragement and freely offered guidance has motivated me beyond anything I have experience in my 57 years thus far!

Among many of those individuals, I am so thankful Doug for having met you and your wonderful wife Teri and for the friendship that has ensued.

I look forward to seeing you both next month at the World Internet Summit in Toronto! Anyone want to join us?

I&#039;m Lovin&#039; It!

		<description>Howdy Doug!

There was a time when I used to tell people what I do for a living and they would raise an eyebrow skeptically.

Nowadays, with the way the economy heading, people raise BOTH eyebrows and start asking questions!

There has been an interest in doing business online going back to before I started, but there are more and more people seriously considering using the Internet as an income alternative.

That said, I do feel sorry for those that are losing their jobs(and shirts), but I&#039;m happy to say that I am seeing a steady rise in MY business.

Be well,

		<description>Great post Doug!

There has always been more and more people coming online to start a business, but with the current economic issues, I expect that those numbers of beginners to grow rapidly over the coming months and years.

If anyone has some spare time, even just a few hours over the weekend, they really can start building an online income.
